The system comprises of solar collectors,glass-lined storage tank with single or double heat exchanger, pump station, expansion vessel and intelligent controller.
Description
The system pump heat-transfer fluids (usually a glycol-water antifreeze mixture) through the solar water heater.Heat exchangers transfer the heat from the fluid to the water that is stored in tanks. The top heat exchange coil to be used for connection to the existing central heating system in the house as backup to produce hot water on cloudy days , at night or in case of large consumption of hot water Single heat exchange coil or double heat exchange coil solar tanks prevent contamination of the household water. Closed-loop glycol system are popular in areas subject to extended subzero temperatures because they offer good freeze protection. It is the preferred option for extremely cold areas.
