The HEPA cartridge traps particles as small as 0.3 microns like allergens, pollens, dust, pet dander and more. HEPA technology has been developed by the military several years ago and is one of the most effective media to remove airborne particles. The activated carbon is designed to absorb several types of smoke and foul odors as well certain VOC.

Photocatalysis technology Attacks Airborne Odors, Fungi, Mold, Mildew and Microorganisms like Bacteria and Viruses. Photocatalysis is a purification process so effective it’s FDA approved for poultry processing (attacks salmonella), pork processing (attacks E. coli), and is also widely used to remove pesticides from fruits and vegetables. It not only attacks bacterial cells, but also decomposes the cell itself.
