Function and Application
Pre-filter is a reliable impurity filtering device. It is able to filter any particles larger than 40 Micron and restore water to the municipal water standard. It is suitable for household installations as it is, for example, able to assist in the prevention of rusting and water contamination of dishwashers, water kettles and water heaters.
Properties and Effects
- Protect the safety of your piping system
- Eliminate impurities such as dust and rust particles, floating substances and solids from source of inflow and reduce second contamination.
- Increase efficiency and decrease maintenance costs.
- Adapt stainless steel mesh made from silver ions which inhibit the growth of bacteria.

Installation and Use
- Installation: Pre-filter should be installed perpendicular to the pipe with drain valve mouth facing down. The direction of the arrow drawn on the valve body indicates the direction of flow. The drainage valve should be closed after installation.
- Sewage Drainage: When pre-filter accumulate dirt sewage disposal (back wash) should be done. Place a container at the bottom of the drain valve to catch the sewage water or connect the valve to a hose pipe to lead the sewage water elsewhere. Open the valve to discharge the sewage water for about 30 seconds.
- Cleaning: When a certain amount of attachments are present on the filter mash, cleaning should be done immediately.
- Close the front inlet water control valve to stop water from flowing.
- Use the special made spanner to turn clockwise to open the pre-filter.
- Remove the cup-shaped plastic cover and the filter net within.
- Rinse to clean the plastic cover and the filter net.
- Once finished cleaning, place the filter net back and close the plastic cover by turning it anti-clockwise to lock the pre-filter.
- Make sure that all the components are placed back in the filter correctly.
- Open the front inlet water control valve to let the water source flow.
