17AME-B is a both temperature and current sensitive bimetal thermal protector. Type B is same as type A except the terminal direction. Type A means that two terminals of thermal protectors are at the same direction; Type B means tha two terminals are at opposite direction. Comparing to type A, type B sometimes is easier for wire connection and can save some mounting space.
